Build/Trial Event Details (Div C 2020)

Build Events

We will be running Ping-Pong Parachute in the Weill Hall atrium, which is approximately 36 feet by 25 feet wide and 63 feet tall (to the bottom of the rafters).

We will be running Wright Stuff in Klarman Hall Groos Family Atrium, which is 70 ft long and 35 ft wide (at the narrowest) and 32 feet tall (to the bottom of the hanging lights). We will try to minimize obstructions (that we can move) on the day of the competition.

Pictures of both atria are depicted below. We understand that each venue is not ideal. However, we have considered all options and availabilities and believe these venues will provide for a challenging but fair environment during the competition.

Trial Events

Our organization has decided to host the following trial events (please see the attached rules):

1. Fermi Questions - “an oldie but goodie” and one of our organizations favorite events!

2. Green Generation - a NYS trial event for the 2019-2020 season

3. Science Quiz Bowl - a NYS trial event for the 2019-2020 season
